About Me
Hi, I'm Shayn!
I'm so glad you're here! Thank you for wanting to learn more about who I am. Part of my work includes building a connection with those I work with and ultimately making you feel comfortable who is working with you!
I grew up in a small town in Raymond, Washington. A place along the coast of US101 and the coastal beach. I was always curious about finding things to take pictures of at a young age. People soon began asking if I could take pictures for them which led to taking photography serious and a passion that I love!
WHAT I DO OTHER THAN PHOTOGRAPHY
I am a recent graduate from Western Washington University with a Bachelors of Music Education. I have worked with many schools in coaching, teaching, and of course creating beautiful music together.
I have always dreamed of becoming a great educator and to share something that I love to do. Music has played a huge role in my life and I hope to share it with the world! I am a multi-instrumentalist in trumpet and euphonium, and a baritone vocalist.
Today, I am teaching secondary music in both high school and middle school and a self taught 21st century composer/arranger. Teaching and writing music will forever be part of my identity and I hope to pass it on and inspire young musicians.
